Salted is a business in the fashion industry that manufactures and retails high quality woman’s clothing.

Delivery Policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within 3-5 working days with delivery thereafter within 2-3 days. We offer delivery with our selected courier within South Africa only either door to door or door to courier, for a flat rate of R120.00, depending on where you are located. Delivery is usually within 2-3 days from confirmation of dispatch.

Export restriction

The offering on this web site is available to South African clients only.

Return and Refund policy

The provision of goods and services by Salted is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Salted will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client, prior to receiving our delivery confirmation (see delivery policy above) will attract a R50 administration fee. If you are unhappy in any way with your purchase you may return it to us within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or refund. The goods must be in their original condition, unworn, unmarked, unwashed and in their original packaging with labels and swing tags attached.

Goods must be returned at purchaser’s expense within 7 days, using a door to door courier or counter to counter service with tracking numbers. Unfortunately we cannot refund or exchange used or customer damaged goods (statutory rights not affected). Please retain your waybill/postage receipt as proof of return. Without this we cannot be responsible for any items that fail to reach us. Credits will be processed within 7 days of receipt of returned items in valid condition less a R50 administration and restocking charge. Please note that shipping charges will not be refunded on returns. We do not accept returns on Sale items.

Customer privacy policy

Salted shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information“ shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from here.

Payment options

Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Salted via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by Salted separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Salted chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 2 Lothian Court, 10th Avenue, Morningside, Durban, 4001.

Variation

Salted may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Legal Statement

Prices are subject to change and are inclusive of VAT but exclude postage fee. We take all possible care to describe and reproduce items accurately using current technology, but slight variations may inevitably occur. Salted is the trading name of Des Slabbert (proprietor).
